Glimpses from the Pilgrims Conference 10th-11th October 2026: Some Photos and Some Voices

A good time was had by all…

Conference information

Set 1 The presenters Phil Dexter and Hania Kryszewska, and glimpses of the participants

Dear Phil and Hania,

I wonder if you can both imagine how incredibly heartening I found your conference to be??

It was heartening on so many levels, not just the excellent choice of speakers, nor the range of topics, nor the professionalism of all the talks, let alone all the hard work which you both had in order to organize the whole thing, but perhaps (for me) to see the current state of Pilgrims Teacher Training.  It is truly in excellent  hands. It is clear also that you have a team of excellent trainers who are full of energy and commitment and, above all, support for you both. Would that Mario could have been around to witness all this for himself!

Wishing you both all the very best as you and your team of trainers continue to take Pilgrims Teacher Training onward and upward!!

Robert Gillan, Pilgrims DOS 1988 to 1992

I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful and inspiring weekend of webinars! It was not only a pleasure to speak at the event, but it was also a great pleasure to be able to attend the wonderful sessions on offer.

Thank you for all your hard work putting this together as I know a lot of work goes into this! And please, count me in if you need any support with next years' event, recording, hosting etc as I truly think this should be an annual event! (…)Anna Hasper

Lovely to be with you all in the same room. 🙂 Thanks for the great talks, Anna and Marcedes;  and for the kind facilitating of the event to Hania and Phil. Looking forward to tomorrow.

It was lovely to see you all. 🤗 Anna and Mercedes ! You were brilliant💪

Loved Alessia Cogo and Eli very much. So very humble, professional and inspiring.

It was an amazing afternoon with our Pilgrims family, colleagues, friends, and past trainees.

I am so happy to have shared the warm, inspirational atmosphere with everybody.

Sending you all a huge hug.

Thanks to you two and everyone else who has worked on this relentlessly for six months. People are unaware (unless they have done similar) how much work is involved in organizing an event like this.

What I find really rewarding is how the presentations have connected all of us and how the write-up process will lead to reflection (as well as inform those who were not present) in the printed form recalling the live sessions. True cross-fertilization...

I'm afraid Pilgrims will have to do this again!

Best,

Eli Bekes
