Fingerprints

Remember this activity? Great for creativity and vocabulary practice. Get your students to make fingerprints, create and name as many drawings as possible. Forgot all about it, perhaps someone did too (from Calm, Michael Acton Smith)

Noughts and crosses for grammar revision

Forgot all about this simple noughts and crosses game for grammar revision until I remembered. We played six rounds, each time changing the stems. I tried to make it relevant to the students' context and the stems related to their lives and their situations. All the stems that were not used in the rounds I noted down, and when the students finished playing I used them for a speaking activity: students had to complete them, and say why they will/ would/ would have done sth. It worked fine.
