Conference Focus

The Conference will focus on the use of written, spoken, interactive, multi-modal, mental, visual and audio-visual texts for facilitating the acquisition of a second or foreign language. It will welcome academic and practitioner research reports, position papers, materials suggestions and workshop discussions, as well as workshop evaluation, adaptation and development of learning materials.

Parallel and poster presentations

To submit an abstract for a forty-minute presentation or workshop, or for a poster presentation please send a 100-150 word summary of the proposed presentation to Brian Tomlinson at brianjohntomlinson@gmail.com

Conference fees

MATSDA and TMAC members, students, UAEH staff: 209 US dollars
Other participants: 240 US dollars
Includes welcome drinks and pastes (local savoury pastries), coffees and teas
